I've always wanted to learn a new language, but somehow, I kept finding excuses not to. The truth is, I've never really seen myself as someone who picks up new languages easily.
A few years ago, I tried learning Spanish. It started off great, but after a while, I lost motivation because I didn't have much reason to keep going. I didn't enjoy watching Spanish shows or reading in Spanish, so eventually, I just gave up.
So here I am again giving language learning another shot. This time, I'm diving into Chinese (Mandarin)!
I know, it's quite an ambitious goal. Mandarin has a reputation for being one of the hardest languages to learn. I keep thinking about that hilarious Big Bang Theory scene where Sheldon tries to speak Mandarin and ends up completely confusing the store owner. Hopefully, I won't end up that bad!
